From green energy to impact products
For us, Neo Energy means: energy that does more than deliver kilowatt hours. That is why we have introduced our impact rates — which can be booked as an option with any of our fixed-price contracts. No complicated procedure, no empty promises. Instead, a simple principle:
1 euro = 1 kilogram of plastic that is removed from water bodies.
Customers choose between three tariff levels:
Start: +1 €/month equals 1kg of plastic waste removed
Boost: +3 €/month3 kg plastic waste removed
Ultra: +5 €/month5 kg plastic waste removed
Our partner: everwave
Behind the effect is Everwave. The Aachen impact company that removes plastic waste from rivers and bodies of water worldwide. With collection boats, barriers, manual cleaning and AI-based route optimization, everwave prevents plastic from even reaching the sea.
What makes Everwave special: For them, effect is not a claim. With the plastic credit mechanism and a data-based tracking system, every kilogram collected is clearly assigned, documented and verifiable. So far, Everwave has 2.4 million kilograms of plastic removed from rivers in Cambodia, Albania and Thailand.
Our partnership began in December 2025 with a joint initiative in Cambodia, which recovered 10,000 kilograms of plastic waste. What started as a pilot project is now a scalable, continuous impact model — and continues to grow with every new booking.
