How do I register my home or company with PLAN-B NET ZERO ENERGY?

Registration is complete via our tariff calculator in our PLAN‑B NEO app, where you can sign an electricity contract for yourself in just a few steps:

  1. Choose whether you are a private or business customer.
  2. Enter your location and estimated annual consumption.
  3. Choose the plan that's right for you.

Among other things, we offer:

  • Private and business rates
  • Heat pump rates
  • Fixed price rates
  • Dynamic rates with stock market prices

In the tariff calculator, you can see all conditions transparently broken down (price, term, conditions). You then enter your personal data and conclude the contract online.

We take care of the rest: We take care of the settlement with your previous supplier and ensure seamless supply.

Can I register the change of provider now for a later date?

You can request your switch to PLAN-B NET ZERO ENERGY up to six months in advance.

A longer period of time does not make sense because prices and conditions can change — for example as a result of new network charges, taxes or statutory duties.


With the 6-month limit, we ensure that you receive the conditions that we have agreed with you and that the change can be implemented cleanly and reliably.

Can I register electricity retroactively?

No, retrospective electricity registrations are not legally and technically permitted. Network operators and billing systems always need a clear, future start of delivery in order to correctly record and bill your consumption.

If you are moving, please get in touch as early as possible — ideally at least 14 days before moving. This allows us to deregister your old address and register the new address in good time, without a gap in supply.

Will PLAN-B NET ZERO ENERGY change my electricity provider for me?

Yes, we'll make the switch for you. We will automatically cancel your previous supply contract as soon as possible and initiate all necessary market processes.

Exception:
In the event of a special cancellation, you must cancel the contract yourself with your previous provider. In this case, we need your cancellation confirmation so that we can correctly accept your connection.

How long does it take to switch?

Your transfer to us usually takes around 2-3 weeks. Often, the change can even be completed within a few days — depending on various factors.


The duration depends, among other things, on:

  • Network operator: Your local network operator must check and approve the data from your power connection. Delays here can prolong the change process.
  • Previous contract: Special notice periods or contract terms with your previous provider may influence the changeover time.

It is best to get in touch with us early so that we can plan all steps in good time and reliably coordinate your change date.

Do I have to submit a meter reading at the start of the contract?

Your initial meter reading ensures that your contract starts correctly and is billed exactly.

In this way, you avoid estimates, back payments and ambiguities when switching suppliers. With your own meter reading, your statement remains transparent and comprehensible. In many cases, the network operator can also automatically transmit the meter reading to us, but there may be differences here.

Can I easily take my contract with me when I move?

Yes, your contract can usually move to the new address. So that we can plan the move in good time, we need the following information at least 14 days before you move out:

  • Move-out date
  • New delivery address
  • New billing address
  • Move-in date
  • New meter number
  • If known: MALO ID

You can easily share this information with us via the PLAN‑B NEO app.

We will then check whether we can deliver to you at the new address and get back to you with the details within approximately two weeks. As soon as everything has been clarified, we will ensure a smooth transition so that your supply continues without interruption.
